The woman at the counter was really helpful. I ordered some assorted Italian cookies, and she picked the best-selling ones for me — or at least that’s what she said! I’m not sure if they were truly the best, but they were all genuinely delicious.

Great place for after dinner coffee and desert. Everyone’s desert was delicious. I enjoyed the carrot cake, a little smaller than the ones we have in Texas, but still a great desert. What a section of different deserts, we were with a local who suggested the cannolis, equally an excellent desert along with a tasty coffee.
Came for the coconut cake and it was spectacular! I loved how soft, fresh and mildly sweet it was. With the volume of treats they make here EVERYTHING tasted so good and i was blown away because larger bakeries cut corners sometimes and you can taste in the quality. Sometimes the items taste processed but thats totally NOT the case here.
I tried the strawberry shortcake and the cheesecake as well and those were good too. I willl definitely be back!

My favourite place I visited in nyc, I came back three times, the staff were so lovely, the interior is beautiful and the cakes were delicious. I think the strawberry shortcake is my favourite cake I have ever eaten ❤️ such a classic and special place I can’t wait to come back whenever I am next in nyc
This is a historical Pasty shop which was set up in 1834 but their stuff is amazing. We loved everything we ordered … the Canoli, the Italian Cheesecake and Tiramisu. All were really different from run of the mill… and the coffee was also very good. Definitely a place to visit. We were referred here and happy we made it to this place. Best part is the cafe part was quiet and service was good.

The best Italian bakery in New York City. Amazing New York cheesecake (especially the one with sliced almonds not found any where else) and Fresh Fruit Supreme cake, amongst other tasty items
